Initial Consultation (All private training starts here)
During this consultaion, we will discuss your concerns, goals, dog behavior and how dogs learn. You will learn how to manage your dog's environment to minimize inappropriate behavior. You'll also get started on some exercises to get you closer to your goals. I will get to know you and your dog and recommend a training package for you. This session is followed up with a written summary and educational resources.
Initial 60 minute session fee - $120
Private Dog Training (after an Initial Consultation)
This option is ideal for families who want one-on-one attention while learning how to train their dogs. We can work on basic manners or problem behaviors. Private training is ideal for behavior issues that are outside of the group class curriculum. One on one attention for your dog will speed up the learning process. Depending on your goals, we'll train in your home and out in the real world.
Follow up Training sessions - $120 (60 minutes)
30 Minute Zoom sessions - $65
These sessions are good for checking in on the progress of your training. We can review video that you may have or troubleshoot any problems. We can also do some live review of training exercises.
Private Training Package options - After a 60 minute initial consultation
3 session package - $325 for 3 one hour sessions
4 session package - $430 for 4 one hour sessions
Semi-private sessions - 2 dogs per session
Semi-private sessions are for two dogs from different households. These sessions are perfect for people who want more guidance and feedback than a traditional group class. You can recruit a friend to share the sessions or contact us to get on the interest list and we'll get you scheduled. We can tailor a package to work on basic behaviors like stay, coming when called, preventing jumping, leash walking etc. For two dogs with different behavior concerns, private sessions will be needed to address individual goals.
Semi-private fees are at a lower rate per dog
Initial consultations for basic manners (60 minutes) - $70 per dog
Follow up training sessions (60 minutes) - $70 per dog
Live-Online 1 hour puppy prep (before pup arrives) - $65 per family
3 SESSION PACKAGE - 3 one hour sessions $195 per dog

SHOW ME -- GROUP CLASSES
Carly was frightened of the big world and the noises in it. Cheryl worked with us and our other dog to help identify Carly's insecurities. As she gained more confidence, she gained more freedom and fun! Now she is a lovely dog with the personality that reminds me exactly of Lady from Lady and the Tramp. We wouldn't have been able to get her to this level on our own. She transformed from a scared and uncertain pup to a confident and happy dog. Thanks again Cheryl!

Puppies benefit from all family members being involved in training.
Cheryl's patience and knowledgeable approach included teaching us handling methods for not only our new puppy, but, how to be sensitive to the needs and behaviors of our older dogs. Cheryl's one on one sessions helped us initially in adapting our puppy to his new home and family. She was always available to provide guidance, whether by phone, email, or in person. She taught us how to communicate and consider the needs of each member of our dog family.
